Hello ladies and gents! Today I’m doing something a little different than usual. I’m reviewing a cover designer. Victoria Lynn Designs, to be more specific.
At the same time, I’m going to be revealing the cover for Flowers, the short story sequel to The Lady of the Vineyard. (Also, I’ve set a release date for January 13th, 2018! There may be a blog tour … stay tuned!)
Now, without further ado, here is my review of Victoria Lynn Designs!

Hello ladies and gents!
Welcome to my blog … and to my THIRD post in Five Fall Favorites 2017! I’m sure you remember the amazing blog party we did last year, and if you don’t, this invitation will give you the highlights:

Day 4 has finally arrived, and today I’ve made some slight changes in the way this tour will be running. So, without further ado, I’ll be telling you about them. Because I don’t believe in keeping poor, innocent readers waiting.
Vlogs will be every other day instead of every day. I’m sorry, but don’t you think that would be too many vlogs otherwise? Also, all the posts would be three years late (instead of just two …)! So, there will be a post today, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (which will be a wrap-up/exciting announcements post).
The Q submissions for the Q&A post will be wrapping up next Tuesday, the 27th. Hopefully, the Q&A video will be posted on the 29th. Which … I guess is what I originally planned, now that I think about. But I needed another announcement. ‘Cause I said “announcements.” XD
Other than that, nothing has really changed. The schedule has some minor edits, but that shouldn’t cause anyone too much bother.

Duh-duh-duuuuuh! It’s day 3! I’m afraid the vlog will be out a little late today (I’ll add it to this post and then publish it on my social media as soon as I can), but the rest is up and running for your enjoyment.
Although … I’m not sure “up and running” is the correct terminology to use. I mean, it’s not a machine … unless it’s a Blog Machine instead of a Blog Tour. Ooh, I like that! “ We’re made up of many parts, and some are more oiled that others … specifically, the engine isn’t running ….” #SlamYourselfSaturdayOnAThursday
I really need to stop beating up on poor little Kell Bell. She’s such a sweetie, and she doesn’t deserve it. *refers to self in third person*

Annnnnd it’s Day 2! *everyone celebrates* *dancing in the streets* *salsa splashes everywhere* *its a salsa party*
I … have no idea what any of that was about. So … yeah. Lots of .. salsa. I don’t even like salsa. #hatestomatoes #notaspicyperson
So, today we have a couple fun posts, an informative vlog (don’t worry; they all won’t be information-packed; there will be some funness, too), and all the other stuff. And I finally remember to mention something else that I’d intended to mention earlier. *facepalm*

Well. I can’t believe September is over already! That went by in the flash. 😛 Well, let’s see how I did this September! 🙂
Dares for September 2016
- Read five books. Check! I think I read … eight? And those are only the ones I remembered to mark on Goodreads … that weren’t for school … 😛 Also, here’s a link to the reviews I posted on Reveries Reviews in September.
- But one of those books has to be a classic. Check! Mansfield Park! *dances*
- And another has to be a nonfiction book about something historical that you could actually apply in a story. Kinda. I haven’t gotten all the way through How to be a Victorian yet.
- Finish Ivy Introspective. Kinda. Um … I’m at 42,000 words. See slideshow at the bottom of this post. Start with the matchbox if you can. It’s better that way. Trust me.
- Character development for At Her Fingertips. Kinda. Mostly, that is. I’ve figured out most of them and gotten them all organized in my head, but I’m not finished.
- Edit A Place Called Lonesome. Check! I did. I submitted it to the contest … and lost. But then, so did everyone else but the winner, so I don’t feel bad. 😉 I’m renaming the story and I’ll be publishing it on this blog in December-ish … so stay tuned! 🙂

Today is ‘western’ and ‘inspirational’ day. Now, I couldn’t remember reading any books that counted as ‘inspirational,’ so … yeah. I guess I just don’t need inspiring. XD So I replaced ‘inspirational’ with ‘animals.’ Yeah … that is a genre … 😛
Remember, you could win this prize …
And if we get 75 or more entries there will be a second prize … and if we get 100 or more entries, there will be a third! So tell all your friends and family, and there’ll be more cool stuff to win! 🙂
Also, remember to visit all the blogs for a chance to win the daily door prize!

Welcome to day 2 of Five Fall Favorites! Today I’ll be showcasing two of my favorite genres … romance and historical fiction! 😀
Just a quick reminder … this is what’s at stake:
If I were you, I’d definitely go to Rebekah’s blog and enter now! Hurry up … the prizes are awesome, and you only have until Friday to enter!
Before we start …
I don’t understand how anyone could make fun of your acting either, Lizzie. They’re idiots, all of them. And you can’t convert a book directly into a movie. You have to make a few changes. I respect that and all my daughters will be named Keira. So there.
Yeah … I’ve been watching that GIF for almost an hour now … 😉 Just kidding … sorta.
Anyway, I just want to link to this post now. Because it’s an amazing summary of the everything I’ve been trying to express as ‘true’ Austen fans hate on the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. Trust me, guys … I’m a true fan. 😛

The blog party has begun!
Find out more about the blog party here!
Yep! We’ve got some awesome stuff being given away. I’m very jealous of you. You at least get a chance of winning … I don’t. 😦 😉
Anyway, today I’m going to be telling you about my top five favorites for the genres mystery and Christian fiction. Now, these aren’t my only favorites from those two genres and they sure aren’t in any particular order (that would be too cruel for words!), just so you know. 🙂

We’ve finally come to the last day of the blog tour! After this, we’ll be getting back to the normal schedule.
Buy on Amazon (Kindle) ~ Buy on Amazon (Paperback) ~ Buy on Createspace ~ Add on Goodreads
An author and character interview (and bonus book spotlight!) by Morgan Dusky (Studies in Character). It’s always so much fun to do anything with Morgan and her characters, and this was no exception! I also finally got some of the Adele-and-Troy-squabbling out of my head, which is good, because I need to move on to other characters, sadly. 😉
Also, Morgan’s birthday was last Saturday, on release day; I totally forgot to mention that in my post! Oh, well.
A book spotlight by Willowy Whisper (http://willowywhisper.com/). Tastefully done! 🙂
A review by J.C. Buchanan (Beyond the Amethyst). I love seeing reviews of my novels … it gives me a happy feeling inside … and this was no exception!
An author interview by Kate Willis (Once Upon an Ordinary). This one was fun! Kate is always pretty awesome. Which, oddly enough, reminds me that I need to write a review of Austenland. XD
An author and character interview with Allie Taylor (The Depth of My Faith). It hasn’t come out yet (because it’s also a bonus!), but I’ll try to add the link in later if I can. Also, my ‘aspiring author interview’ can be found here. Allie did it with me a little while back. 🙂
