  1. I finally actually read this post. I’d put it off because I thought I knew what you were going to say. I was wrong. 🙂 And I’m glad. 🙂 Thanks so much for speaking to the true one thing the Bible says! No, you’re NOT an underachiever – not if you’re pursuing relationship with Jesus and letting Him testify and act and respond through you! That’s letting His life live through and in you, and He lives perfectly with perfect achievement! Thanks for sharing; I was quite encouraged by reading. Spot on! Looking forward to your next spiritual post. 🙂

  2. Thank you, Josie! Hopefully I’ll be able to come up with something that isn’t too ridiculous. 😉

(Oh, no, of course! I didn’t know it was a private/personal account or I would have let you alone. 😉 Not offended at all – completely understand. 😀 )

  3. Amazing post, Kellyn! I can’t wait to read more of your Christian posts.
(By the way, I just wanted to let you know I appreciate your request but I can’t be friends with anyone I don’t know irl on Facebook because it’s my personal account with address information and things, I didn’t want you to think I was blowing you off or anything XD)

  4. No, that makes sense! Though I don’t have an excuse for putting things oddly as a native-English speaker. 😉 Thank you, though … that’s good to know! Nothing wrong with being a little unique. 🙂

  5. Haha, well, I’ve never thought you were losing your mind. You do have a writing style different to other writers I read, though. I think that if your readers are open to that, we can benefit from hearing things through unique words, though. This might come across as a strange comparison, but I really like hearing people from other languages talk about the Lord in English. Often they word things differently using the vocabulary they know, and it’s harder to tune out on what they’re saying because I haven’t heard it put that way before. Their words stand out from the masses of native-English Christians whose words sometimes sound all the same.

  6. Yes, most definitely!

Thank you! I’m hoping I’ll be able to write some that aren’t total nonsense. I can sometimes get rambly or say things in confusing ways so people think I’m losing my mind … 😉

  7. I feel the same way – that people will be more inclined to believe the gospel if our words are backed by our actions. Otherwise, we’ll ring hollow.

Well, whatever they may be about, I’m excitedly anticipating those next posts in the months to come.

  8. Yes, definitely! I’m not by any way seeking to discount sitting down with someone and telling them about God – of course not! But I think they’ll be more inclined to believe you when you do if they’ve seen you actually living your faith out in your life. Though … of course they can’t divine the facts about your faith just from seeing you live it, I don’t believe. 😉

Definitely all amazing and necessary! 🙂

Welllll, to be honest, my ideas are pretty rough at this moment. I have a half-written post about the sovereignty of God, but that may be too big a subject for me to handle! I’ll just have to see when I get closer to my next post. 🙂

  9. I love that you wrote this, Kell! X) And I think that I life of integrity coupled with sharing the gospel through words is so, SO powerful.

How I strive to share the gospel? I read, watch and listen to things that build and shape my passion for the spread of the gospel. I try to remember to talk to the Lord about it if I’m about to walk into interactions with the lost. I try to keep in ongoing conversation about it and ask Him that I might value His work above my reputation and not being awkward.

Definitely looking forward to further posts about God! What ideas do you have coming up?

  10. Thank you Kelly!!!! It is such a good reminder to share our good news and practice what we preach!!! 😉

  11. Yay Kellyn! I’m glad you’ve decided to step out and post more as a Christian. I do that on my blog and I have so many ideas it’s hard to balance with the other normal posts. XD
    *thumbs up* nice job. 😀
