The blog party has begun!
Yep! We’ve got some awesome stuff being given away. I’m very jealous of you. You at least get a chance of winning … I don’t. 😦 😉
Anyway, today I’m going to be telling you about my top five favorites for the genres mystery and Christian fiction. Now, these aren’t my only favorites from those two genres and they sure aren’t in any particular order (that would be too cruel for words!), just so you know. 🙂
I don’t know why, but this book really drew me in and kept my attention! It’s a really thrilling mystery. DON’T READ IT ON A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT!!! 🙂 Find my review here.
I don’t think I really need to explain this one, do I? It’s an absolutely shiver-worthy, clever, incredible mystery! Of course it is … it’s Sherlock Holmes!
Not only is this an interesting, original battle between good and evil, but it’s also hilarious.
This is possibly the best children’s book on earth … though, y’know … it’s not exactly a mystery (at least not after about the second half), but it still has a lot of mysterious stuff in it. 🙂
Okay, let me amend my former statement … this is the best children’s book ever! 😛 Not really a huge fan of the rest of the books, but this first one is amazing!
I thought this was gonna be soooo incredibly boring, but I ended up falling 100% in love with it. It’s a beautiful, miserable story, and I adore it. The writing is so beautiful, too. People just don’t describe stuff the way they used to anymore. 🙂 Find my review here.
This is an amazing story that really tears you up and shreds your heart, yet it’s so beautiful and happy. 🙂 Find my review here!
And I mean the original ones, though the Life of Faiths are good, too (in a different way, though). Find my review here!
This. Is. The. Best. Book. Ever. Of course, every one of my favorites (and I believe I’ll be listing sixty books in all) is the Best Book Ever, so … Find my review here!
I don’t really have words for this, the last of my favorites from the Christian fiction category. It’s a fantastic story … and the description, I must add, is awesome (though I know many of you would probably find it a bit dull). I especially love Elizabeth Goudge’s extremely real characters. She’s a true student of humankind. Find my review here.
Now that we’ve gotten through that (although … that was kind of the whole post … XD ), time to announce what room I am today!
