  1. The Dancing Master didn’t really stick with me … although I liked it. I think it was a little less … I don’t know. Action-packed than her other novels. 🙂

  2. The Boxcar Children… Those were (the younger half, anyway) of my childhood favorite series! Once I got a little older, The Hardy Boys became my favorite. Mystery stories are always fun!

  3. Great post! I love the Elsie Dinsmore series! (Every time I bring it up, my siblings say Elsie Dismal… which get’s really annoying!😜)

  4. Oh, I LOVE the original Elsie series!! I lot of my friends feel they’re kinda outdated and unrealistic, and maybe they are, but I just love them so much! *is happy to find someone else who loves them* 😉 I must reread them again soon!

  5. I’ve read one of the sequels, but I haven’t read the rest yet. 😦 I really need to get to that … but things keep coming up … I have so many books to read! XD

  6. Ohhhhh! I am so happy because I recognized a bunch of these. 🙂 I have a quite a few of the Elsie Dinsmore books (the originals-I didn’t even know they had different ones!) and The Scarlet Letter! I GET to read that one on assignment next year for school. Yes, I am homeschooled. 🙂 And we have the Boxcar Children book one! I love that book! 🙂 And I really want to read Journey to Love. 🙂

  7. Wow! I’ve actually heard of/read most of these books! *grabs a quilt* *really has nothing else to say but is commenting anyway* The party is fantastic!

  8. *sigh* I really need more Arthur Conan Doyle in my life…

Thanks for participating in this awesome blog hop! Wouldn’t have found your blog otherwise! 🙂

  9. I love The Secret Garden and The Boxcar Children! And did you say MBS?! *ears perk up* *smiles widely* *runs off to retread it*

  10. I’ve only read one book of Julie Klassen’s books, but my sister loves her writings!
I also want to read more of Sherlock Holmes, because…well, of course! 😀

  11. I really should find a Julie Klassen book to read. She seems to be a great Christian author. 🙂 I should also find the Mysterious Benedict Society, because I know some fans of that book. (Like Megan and Allison :P) I also want to read Journey to Love, and if I win the grand prize, then I will! 😀
